The Newport Plum is a superior small ornamental tree that has beautiful reddish-purple foliage with bright red tips all summer long. One of the first trees to bloom in spring, it has fragrant pink flowers that are followed by purple fruit. This is a rounded, deciduous tree that is highly decorative with its beautiful foliage. Hardy, pyramidal tree. White flowers appear in April and May. Attractive, dense foliage emerges green then changes to red as the leaves mature and then turns reddish-purple in the fall. Flowers are followed by edible 1/3" fruit that can be used for jam, jelly, pies, sauce and wine. Fruit also attracts birds. Prefers good drainage and aerated conditions. Matures at 20-30'; 15-25' spread. Needs full sunlight.

Dwarf Korean Lilac (tree form) is a dense deciduous shrub, trained to grow in a small tree-like form with the primary plant grafted high atop a standard. Its relatively fine texture sets it apart from other landscape plants with less refined foliage. It is a good choice for attracting butterflies to your yard. It will grow to be about 7 feet tall at maturity, with a spread of 4 feet. Typically provides a clearance of about 3 feet from the ground, and is suitable for planting under power lines. It grows at a slow rate, and under ideal conditions can be expected to live for approximately 30 years. This shrub should only be grown in full sunlight.

The China Snow Lilac is filled with fragrant bunches of white flowers that bloom in June. Its gracefulness shows in its upright rounded habit that really stands out. The bark is exfoliating and is a wonderful dark-amber color. It would be quite a lovely tree in your yard year-round. The height of this tree can get to 35 feet and the crown will grow to about 30 feet wide.

Beautiful glossy deep burgundy red leaf color and cinnamon to white exfoliating bark puts this Birch tree in a class of it's own. The desirable leaf color holds very well through out the summer. This is a rare and truly a spectacular tree.

This is a semi-weeping, rounded, deciduous tree. Leaves are dense, ovate, often lobed, dark green, up to 3 inches long. Red buds develop into carmine flowers that fade to pale pink in spring. Produces red fruit approximately the size of a cherry. Grows to 15 to 25 feet tall and 10 to 20 feet wide. This tree does well in most soil. Very disease resistant.

Thornless Cockspur Hawthorn is an excellent small tree with a wide spreading plant form, growing to a height of 15 to 18 ft. Hardy to zone 4, it requires well-draining soils and full sun. Drought resistant, this tree has low water needs. It is resistant to Cedar Rust and has no serious pest problems.

Weeping cherry trees are beautiful to behold, with their long slender branches drooping down, sometimes to the ground. Many weeping cherry trees have brightly colored pink flowers that look spectacular in the springtime. Weeping cherry trees work excellently as a specimen planting.

This vigorous, erect tree grows from 20 to 30 feet tall and has star-shaped flowers with 15 broad white petals blushed with pink. The blossoms are fragrant and appear before the leaves in early to mid-spring. Grow in moist, well-drained, preferably acidic to neutral soil in sun or partial shade; magnolias do not tolerate wet feet. Magnolia flower buds are susceptible to late-season frosts; shelter large-leaved species from windy locations.
