Landscape Design Company
Milwaukee Landscaping Designers
. . . an essential and exciting step to unlocking the timeless possibilities of your home's landscape.
Landscape Design
During our initial consultation, we will walk your property to get a feel for your landscape project, talk about your objectives, freely share our knowledge with you, offer suggestions, give ideas, discuss budgets and planning, and discuss the discounts our company offers towards the design fees if we are hired to do the installation. Through this process we will be able to determine, if based on your scope, objectives, and budget, if it makes sense to schedule a meeting with a landscape designer.
Transforming space into usable art through design is a process that requires detailed and careful planning; the first step to any well developed design is a plan.

The Process:
Initial Consultation
Meeting with the Landscape Designer
Prior to meeting with the landscape designer, you will asked to fill out a Landscape Design Questionnaire. This will help the landscape designer get a feel for the elements of design that you would like incorporated; as well as, learn some background information about the property.
During the meeting, the landscape designer will uncover your vision, objectives, preferences, wishes, and project budgets. You will learn more about the design process, specific detailed design services offered, and get a glimpse of the potential your landscape has to offer.
Site Evaluation
At this time, a fully detailed evaluation will be made of the site, including taking measurements of the site and documenting other elements of importance. Site elements that may be noted at this time are existing landscaping and hardscaping, drainage, lot boundaries, lighting, driveways, grades, soil conditions, and any other areas that the designer feels may impact the design.
Preliminary Design
At this point the customer's input is very important. Based on the architectural style of the house and terrain, existing curves, shapes, lines, and other compositional aspects of the site and what the designer has uncovered about the preferences and objectives of the owner, the landscape designer will present a preliminary design. The design elements will focus on shapes, composition, style, size, curves, and lines of the landscape. Any hardscaping, such as: patios, retaining walls, or fences may be drawn out at this time. Details into specific materials will be deferred until the conceptual plan has been approved.
Master Landscaping Plan
This computer generated representation shows, to scale, a detailed CAD representation of the plan. The design will provide a unique and inviting layout that will unlock the beauty and the timeless possibilities of your landscape through functionality, beauty, and harmony. Every detail of the design necessary for construction and installation will be detailed, including types of hardscaping materials and a complete plant list including common name, botanical name, sizes, and quantities.
