SEMI-MATURE EVERGREENS
These Spruce are from our Premium Line of Trees. They are from a select strain of Blue Spruce that are the bluest trees that you will find anywhere. They have been meticulously pruned year after year to create a full, perfectly shaped tree from top to bottom. You will not find a nicer Blue Spruce than the ones we have here.
The Blackhills Spruce is a slower growing tree than the Blue Spruce. They are becoming one of the most popular trees in the area and you won't find nicer trees than these. They have been pruned year after year to create a thick, perfectly shaped tree. You will be the envy of your neighborhood with these trees in your yard!
The Eastern White Pine is a symbol of the Northern Woods. Its rapid growth rate and soft beauty has made it a favorite in landscaping designs. Often planted in groups as a privacy screen or a wind break. The Eastern White Pine does best in well drained soils and can not tolerate areas consistently prone to standing water.

White Spruce features short, bluish-green needles and a nice overall appearance, great for ornamental uses. It features a conical shape which spreads fairly wide at the base if planted in the open. It will grow to 60' tall with a 15' spread at maturity. The white spruce is very tolerant of cold windy conditions, partial shade, and will tolerate poorly drained soil better than other spruces.

The Fastest growing of the spruces. The Norway Spruce develops strong graceful, horizontal to upward sweeping branches that often droop branchlets. The branches are covered with dark green needles. This tree makes an ideal windbreaker. Matures at 60'-90' tall with a 25'-35' spread.

Austrian Pine is medium to fast-growing, reaching 40 to 60 feet tall. Combined with the dark green needles, the dense habit makes for an outstanding specimen tree. The pyramidal crown which becomes flat topped and somewhat irregular on older specimens is comprised of thick horizontal branches weeping horizontally and up as they spread from the trunk.

The Nigra is a very hardy arborvitae with dark green foliage that retains its color through the winter. Excellent for use in privacy screens, tall borders, etc. Moderate to fast growth, and its insect & disease resistance make this plant very desirable. Slightly more cold hardy than many occidentalis varieties, it is becoming more and more popular throughout the area. This will reach a mature height of 25' tall and 6'-8' wide. It grows about 8-14" a year and will tolerate a small amount of shade.
The Emerald Green grows to a height of 10 - 15 feet, with a spread of 3 - 4 feet. This arborvitae is very compact and tight, at 13' tall they are only 3' wide. They make an excellent choice for a screen when spaced 2 - 3 feet apart in the row. Will not tolerate shade.
